Starset are just scratching the surface on 2016 with the release of their "Monster" single, but there are bigger things in store for 2017 including a new album release and more touring.

While many Starset fans have already circled Jan. 20 on their calendar for the release of the Vessels album, they can now get excited about the newly announced wealth of shows that the band will put on early in the New Year. They start a headlining tour on Jan. 14 in Flint, Mich. and have routed the touring to make sure that they'll be in their hometown of Columbus, Ohio on record release day (Jan. 20). The first leg of their touring will continue through Feb. 17 in Pittsburgh, with Gemini Syndrome opening a majority of the dates on the run. Tickets for the trek go on sale tomorrow (Dec. 9).

"We look forward to the freedom that headlining will bring -- allowing us to further realize our sonic and visual objectives. This will be the most immersive series of 'demonstrations' to date," says frontman Dustin Bates.

The band has also already signed on to a number of major 2017 festivals, locking in their slot for Welcome to Rockville, Fort Rock, Carolina Rebellion and Rock and the Range during late April and May. See all of their scheduled tour dates below.

And as stated, Starset will have new music to promote when they hit the road. The song "Monster" is already out there for fans to check out with the remainder of the Vessels album landing on Jan. 20 via Razor & Tie. You can pre-order your copies via Amazon.
