I am not sure about your place of employment, but swearing here at the radio station is a common occurrence.  As a matter of  fact, my standard greeting to some of my co-workers is 'Hello Effers!'.  If we had a 'swear jar', that bitch would be full!

That being said, a study by CareerBuilder.com, found that bad words leave a bad impression in the workplace.  According to some of the employers surveyed, swearing could signal a lack of control or maturity.  Another interesting find is the younger employees do not have the bad mouths, it is the 35-to 44-year age group who curse most.
