A search has begun for an armed robbery suspect that robbed a party store in Burton recently. Check out the surveillance footage here to see if you can help.

Early this morning, police were alerted to an armed robbery in Saginaw. Just after 5 a.m., three armed men walked into the Next Door Food Store on Tittabawassee Road. The men demanded money and took off in a vehicle with the cash and other items.

Earlier this week (Wed) a man was arrested inside the Genesee Valley Mall after an armed robbery at Disc Replay on Linden road in Flint Township.

This cashier must have watched entirely too much Austin Powers, or went to the 'Random Task' school of self defense, because in a effort to defend his store he took off his shoe and went after them with it. What make it even better is there's security footage of the whole thing.

Most armed robbers are generally dumber than most but this guy is a complete idiot.  If you're going to rob a place, it's probably better if you pick a place that doesn't have a crap-ton of people in it.  You might want to look around every once in awhile to see if anyone is on to you.  Otherwise, you might end up with a carpenters level to the head.  Check it out after the jump.
