Finally, you all get to share in my greatest cinematic achievement to date as the trailer for my upcoming film 'Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice' has leaked been officially released on the interwebs. Wait, did I mention that I'm in this movie?

We’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about David Ayer’s Suicide Squad over the last week or so, specifically pertaining to the Joker, which will reportedly be based on Frank Miller’s version of the iconic villain in The Dark Knight Returns. The last report only hinted at how Ben Affleck’s Batman might appear in the film, and today’s rumor expands on that a bit, shedding more light on the caped crusader’s role and how he’s viewed in this particular section of the DCU.

While the upcoming DC Comics movie ‘Suicide Squad’ may have lost a Tom Hardy, it may be gaining a Ben Affleck. A new report suggests that Ben Affleck's Batman, will make a cameo at the end of the movie, introducing him to the new Joker (Jared Leto) and setting up his future standalone movies. At the start of the weekend, rumors began swirling that ‘Batman v Superman’* would be split into two parts, thanks to the circulation of a supposedly leaked screenshot teasing two different installments. It was difficult to read the official URL at the bottom of that screenshot, which many journalists were quick to point out was likely an unofficial, fan-created site. And now Superman himself, Henry Cavill, is officially debunking the rumors, confirming that the film will definitely not be split into two parts—so you can all stop being cranky about it.

Created with LEGOs, this new short is expertly made and features a pretty clever ending. Every generation has their Batman. Depending on the age of the person you ask, you’ll discover Adam West fans, Michael Keaton fans, Kevin Conroy fans and, if you stare into the darkness long enough, a George Clooney fan. For a certain group of fans, Christian Bale’s take on the Dark Knight always be the definitive interpretation, with his gravelly growl and trademark intensity instantly beating out whatever Ben Affleck brings to the character in ‘Batman vs. Superman.’ Some of these people are going to resent Affleck no matter what. And, in a surprising turn of events, it looks like they can all rally around Bale himself.

'Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice' is still another year and a half away, but at least you can preview the throwdown between DC's two biggest breadwinners in this funny new fan-made LEGO short.

It's just not a movie featuring Bruce Wayne/Batman unless you have the death of Bruce Wayne's parents, thus explaining his mopey origins, is it? Zack Snyder would agree, and so would some new set photos from 'Batman vs. Superman,' which confirm that we will see Thomas and Martha Wayne shot to death yet again, just in case you're not sick of seeing that happen. Seriously? Again? Again-again-again?

A few weeks back, we heard that Ryan Gosling went in to meet about a possible role in WB's 'Suicide Squad' film, but it wasn't clear which role that might have been, as details about which characters might be featured in the movie are still a mystery. According to the latest report, Jared Leto is now up for that role -- and that role could very well be The Joker, Batman's longtime nemesis.

We really don't know much about how Wonder Woman will fit into the plot of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.' We do know that she's being played by Gal Gadot and that she will, somehow, get some screen time alongside Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman and Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. But that's about it ... until now! Thanks to a tiny snippet (caught on Vine, no less) we now know that DC's Amazon warrior will forego her classic origin story in favor of her modern beginning.

On October 27th, LEGO and DC Comics will bring the dark knight back to the small screen (along with the rest of the Justice League) for 'Batman Be-Leaguered.' After Bats stole the show in 'The LEGO Movie,' you can count us in!
