In a recent interview, Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins were talking about a time they were on Saturday Night Live. The host that week was Christopher Walken.
Everyone knows that The Jungle Book, based on the classic Rudyard Kipling stories, is about a little boy living alone in the jungle with a bunch of animals. But did you know that Jon Favreau, director of this year’s live-action version of The Jungle Book, wanted his film to reflect man’s changing attitude toward nature? In Kipling’s time, Favreau said in an interview, “nature was something to be overcome. Now, nature is something to be protected.” That’s just one of the facts featured in the last episode of You Think You Know Movies!
Christopher Walken has a one of a kind style, from his voice to his dance moves. It seems like he squeezes in some fancy footwork in all of his roles on the big screen, and this video mixes them all into one hell of a show!
While I'm sure not everyone will find this equally as funny as most. I was drawn into this video for the impressions, and while some aren't as good as the original folks who do them, I think it's still pretty impressive.
Pretty much anything that Christopher Walken does can be deemed hilarious. It's hard not to crack a smile when he is dancing to a Fat Boy Slim song, doing a reading of a Lady Gaga song, or in this case reading from a transcript of the "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" show.
Matt had just typed out the title of his 'Seven Psychopaths' review, his byline, and the rating (seven -- no, make that eight --out of ten?) when his wife Melissa walked into the room.
"How was the movie?" she asked as she flopped down on the couch and flipped on the television.
"Good. Really good," Matt replied. "Interesting."
"Interesting? Why interesting?"
After appearing in just about every other movie between 1990 and 2005, Christopher Walken has been quiet lately. So what’s the 69-year-old been up to? Apparently he’s been playing old school video games, like Super Mario World.
Zombie recently shot down hopes of a White Zombie reunion and has been taking time off from recording to prepare his next movie Lords of Salem. Now it's rumored that he has another movie in his queue.
