Drunk Man Accused of Beating Girlfriend’s Dog to Death After Fight
June 14, 2012 Colorado resident, Samuel Stubbs Talbert, 35, is accused of killing his girlfriend's dog after the pair had a fight. According to witness accounts, Talbert beat, choked, kicked and dragged the 2 year old white shepherd dog. Police were called, but it was too late. When they arrived the dog was dead.

Wild Bear Climbs Tree at University of Colorado, Tranquilizers Force Bear to Fall [VIDEO]
April 27, 2012 This video is pretty intense. A wild bear in Colorado made it's way from the mountains to the University of Colorado. The large bear was eventually hit with a tranquilizer to bring it down to safety. The bear was not harmed and was released back into the wild according to the Denver Post.
