When the hullabaloo about Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool possibly having a cameo in the next Wolverine movie erupted last week, everyone involved in Logan was quick to put those rumors to rest. But that might not mean we’ll never see the two X-Men in a movie together. After everything had died down, Reynolds had a chance to reflect and mentioned that he would be totally down to team up with the Canadian superhero, but there’s one big obstacle to get past: for all intents and purposes, Logan will be Hugh Jackman’s last run as Wolverine.

When is a superhero movie like Game of Thrones? When it’s the most pirated movie of the year, of course. On a new list of all the movies downloaded from popular torrenting site BitTorrent, the merc with a mouth tops the chart over Batman v. Superman, Captain America: Civil War, and The Force Awakens.

The Internet Movie Database is a fount of helpful information. With a few simple clicks, users can learn who shot the Miley Cyrus vehicle So Undercover (Things to Come cinematographer Denis Lenoir), which sequel in the Hellraiser franchise featured a performance from a young Adam Scott (the fourth one), or how old Taraji P. Henson is (who looks that good at 46?!). As a repository for loose factoids from in and around the world of screen entertainment, it can’t be beat. As a source for critical perspectives on those same films, however... hoo boy. Just take a gander at any comment section for a movie’s page and marvel at the IMDb is the site where rabid anti-Ghostbusters zealots congregated to downvote Paul Feig’s movie into oblivion weeks before its actual release, and the newly-released IMDb Top 10 provides an even clearer view of its user base.

A few weeks ago, Deadpool director Tim Miller shocked the world  —  or a nerdier and more profane subsection of the world, anyways — by walking away from Deadpool 2. As reporters scrambled to make sense of why Miller would leave one of the breakout franchises of 2016, reports emerged that Miller and star Ryan Reynolds had very conflicting ideas for the upcoming sequel and that 20th Century Fox had thrown their support behind Reynolds’ vision for the franchise. Deadpool 2 was officially in the hands of Ryan Reynolds now, but the film still needed a director, and the hunt was on.

While Marvel and Sony are now playing in the same superhero sandbox, Marvel and Fox’s relationship remains a little less…cooperative. But there may be hope yet for an eventual collaboration of some kind, as the writers behind Deadpool have revealed that the two studios worked together to swap characters for their respective cinematic universes. You shouldn’t get your hopes up for the X-Men to appear in an Avengers film anytime soon, but it’s definitely optimistic news for Marvel fans.

'Deadpool' is by far my favorite movie that has come out in the last year. I'm a huge 'Star Wars' fan and even that came in second to 'Deadpool.' I will definitely be there for opening night with the sequel comes out.

X-Men: Apocalypse opened in the United States in May; after five weeks in theaters it’s starting to wind down its domestic theatrical run. (Last weekend it grossed an estimated $2.4 million on about 1600 screens.) But while the movie is slowly vanishing from theaters here, it’s yet to even open in certain international markets, including Japan. Over there, Apocalypse doesn’t debut until August, so the film’s promotional campaign continues in full force on that side of the Pacific. That includes this latest trailer, in which the star of Fox’s other (and far more financially successful) 2016 superhero movie shows up to promote his more famous colleagues.

'Deadpool' comes out on DVD tomorrow so here are some bloopers to get you in the mood. This movie was by far one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. When I saw it in the theater I saw at least three pissed moms leaving with their kids. What the hell did you expect?

I really hope the Deadpool revolution doesn't die anytime soon. Here is a perfect example of why he needs to be around more often. After the leaked recording of Kanye's meltdown on SNL upset the internet, Deadpool came back with this awesome response.

That number inflated over the past week, and thanks to a strong preview night on Thursday, February 11, the estimate for the risky action film ballooned to $135 million — and that's precisely how much Deadpool made in its first three days in theaters, shattering a few box office records along the way.

The new movie Deadpool starring Ryan Reynolds is officially out in theaters today and while there are plenty of reviews floating around the internet, I don't think any em' stack up to what actress Betty White had to say.
