A video from 2010 is making its rounds again on the Internet. I don't recall watching it, but I have problems remembering yesterday, let alone 2 years ago! This particular video stars a deer and a bird. Spoiler alert - only one survives!
When it comes to deer in these parts, most people are hunting them or trying to avoid hitting one while driving. How about helping one? The Kelley family in Massachusetts did just that after a deer was stuck in their backyard fence.
When I was a little, I would go out deer hunting with my dad often. I would have totally freaked if this happened to me. Watch as one guy believes he has bagged a buck, only to find out it is still alive!
During a family vacation and while laying out in the sun, this Canadian teenager had a bit of surprise as this deer came from out of the woods and just started rubbing it's head all over him. His mother was able to record some of this odd animal behavior.
I know all about a cock fight, but a deer fight? Watch as these deer go hoof to hoof. I am not sure what they are fighting over, but my guess is that it involves a doe. Apparently the first rule in deer fight club is to put it on YouTube.
I guess I know now what Chris Monroe is doing on his vacation, dressing like a deer and stealing cigarettes! Actually this really did happen. A buck attacked two dudes in Texas, then jumped in a truck and grabbed their smokes!
This can definitely be classified as one of those "Oh Crap!" moments. An unsuspecting man in London's Bushy Park found himself in the middle of two massive stags looking to fight. The man was cornered by one of the bucks, so he quickly took cover behind a tree. He was desperately crying for help, but no one could get near him because of the manic deer. Lucky for him, humans have a better concept of spatial reality than deer and the man was able to keep the tree between himself and the stag.
When one thinks of a deer, one thinks of a gentle Bambi-like creature. However, adult male deers can be pretty rough customers. Especially during mating season, when they use their sharp horns to jostle over female deer companionship.
