Pearl Jam frontman and Cubbies fan Eddie Vedder dropped by Wrigley Field last Thursday (6/30) to once again sing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game'. After joining former Chicago Cub Jose Cardenal for the 7th inning stretch sing-along, Vedder crashed a local bar for open mic night.
Pearl Jam crooner Eddie Vedder visited CBS' ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ last night (6/20) to give a live performance of ‘Without You,’ a song from his new solo album ‘Ukulele Songs.’ Vedder thrummed a teeny uke with a sticker reading "CLARENCE," paying homage to E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons. Clemons passed away last Saturday after suffering a stroke at his Florida home.
In a recent interview Eddie Vedder spoke about his first solo effort 'Ukulele Songs', punk rock, and the progress of Pearl Jam's upcoming tenth studio album. Judging from his comments, we may see it sooner than previously expected.
It was announced this week that sometime in September we would see the release of the Cameron Crowe directed rock doc on Pearl Jam. September is still pretty far out so PJ gave us a very brief taste of what we can expect.
