This is one of the many reasons that these guys are one of my favorite bands. Over the holiday weekend they headlined the BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley. At the end of their set, the festival promoters cut the power.

One of my favorite things to do every year is go to the Michigan Renaissance Festival. I've been there twice so far and had a great time. We went there with about 30 Banana winners for the "Pig 'N Swig" event and it was a blast. There's nothing like beer and bacon to kick start a Sunday.

Coming up Saturday, November 10th at Perani Arena, it's the Michigan Food, Beer, and Wine Festival presented by Country Smoke House.  Over 90 different beers and over 60 different wines to sample and taste.  Maggie's Christmas came early!
