Flint water Crisis

There are a ton of hateful, and misinformed comments being spewed at Flint in the wake of the water crisis. Instead of replying to these a-holes one by one -- I'll save some time and effort by simultaneously addressing them all, here.

Pearl Jam's has a long history of donating to charitable causes, which continues with their pledge to donate $100,000 to the United Way of Genesee County to assist Flint.

Charlie LeDuff is not pulling any punches in this interview. Right of the bat, LeDuff asks Governor Rick Snyder if the Flint water crisis is his Katrina? He goes on to ask the Governor would allow his grandchildren to bathe in Flint water. The Governor said he would. This is a must see interview.

On Thursday, President Obama announced that his administration will donate $80 million to Michigan, mostly to help Flint with the water crisis.

TMZ caught up with Flint Mayor Karen Weaver on her recent trip to Washington D.C. where she met with President Obama about the Flint water crisis. Celebrities like Cher, Michael Moore and Meek Mill have helped to shine a light on the situation, but that is not enough.

Flint resident and water activist Melissa Mays was recently featured on a news piece about the Flint water crisis on the BBC. Mays has devoted herself to this issue and wont' quit until all Flint residents have clean drinking water. You rule Melissa!

A select few Flint residents were questioned by ABC 12 about Governor Snyder's State of the State address and shocker - they were less than impressed. One person even called the speech 'comical'. I am sure there are many people that feel the exact same way. Did you watch? What are your thoughts?

What's happening and will continue to happen in Flint is by no means a laughing matter. But as many comedians will tell you, comedy is a way to get through pain and hardship. That being said, Flint needs to laugh... a lot!
