'Bathroom Break' Blamed for Flint Teen Homicide Supect Escape [VIDEO]

Flint teen and homicide suspect, Mark Jones, walked out of New Passages on Corunna Rd. while at the center for a counseling session. According to ABC 12, Jones has been housed at Genesee County's Genesee Valley Regional Center, awaiting trial for the November 2010 murder of an elderly Flint woman. Jones was given permission to use the restroom and took that as an opportunity to escape.

A Flint family is mourning the loss of 14 year old Antonio Bell Jr. Bell was shot in the head and killed at Mott Park this past Friday night. According to ABC 12, the family believes he was lured to the park by a friend. The killer is still at large.

Yesterday I reported on Flint police seizing dogs that were believed to be used in dog fights. Unfortunately 27 of those dogs had to be put down. Police are still investigating after numerous dogs were found between two homes on Seneca Street.

Dog Fighting Arena Suspected in Flint [VIDEO]

ABC 12 news is reporting that five dogs were taken from a Flint home after police were tipped off about a dog fighting ring. Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell said a 14 year old boy may have been the leader of this operation. The suspected youth has been questioned, but has not been charged as the investigation is on going.
