Most of us know that there is a difference between Flint and Flint Township. However, outsiders may not which is causing a problem for some residents. Many are getting associated with some of the problems with Flint.
Yesterday afternoon, Lake Shore Apartments on Lippincott Blvd caught fire. There are 18 units in the complex and officials are saying almost all of them are a complete lose. Fortunately, all the residents made it out safely.
Two more people in Flint are now dead after two different shootings last night. The first shooting happened on Broadway Boulevard just after midnight. The second happened on Barth Street just north of downtown around 2:30 a.m.
A Flint man is considered armed and dangerous and police are looking for him in connection to a murder. Earlier this month police responded to a car crash where they found the victim Desmond Savage Jr., who had multiple gunshot wounds.
Crime Stoppers and Genesee County have set up a $2,500 reward for a murder that happened earlier in the month in Flint. Police were called to a vehicle crash on Philadelphia Boulevard in Flint on November 7th.
The Flint water crisis continues and another step has been taken. Most of the time since the crisis began, residents have been going to water pick up sites. Now a federal judge has ordered that some of the water most be delivered to certain homes.
We have all heard people say - 'If you don't vote, don't complain about the outcome!' I couldn't agree more with that statement. I do not care who you are voting for - JUST VOTE! Michael Moore was in Flint yesterday encouraging residents to do the same.
As we are getting closer to the election the campaigns are picking up. Good ole Bill Clinton himself will be in Saginaw and Flint today to campaign for Hillary. He will be talking about her plans for the economy and more.
