Labor Day gas prices are set to be lowest since 2004, just in time for your road trip Friday. GasBuddy predicts a national average of $2.19 per gallon on Monday. That's the lowest Labor Day price since 2004’s $1.82 per gallon average.

We haven't seen gas prices this low since 2002.

Just in time for the holiday travel season, gas prices in Michigan are expected to drop to an acceptable rate within the next few months.

Gas prices decreased slightly from last week, AAA Michigan reports.

Say what?  It certainly does not feel that way to me or my wallet!  AAA is reporting that gas prices in Flint are some of the lowest in the state.  I drive from Fenton into Flint everyday and prices in the last two weeks have ranged from $4.09 a gallon to $3.80.  Prices always seem to be higher in Fenton, which totally ticks me off.
