There’s a running joke in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade that Indy took his nickname from the family dog. A Michigan man has turned his boner over the Star Wars franchise into a fountain of creativity, which has facilitated the production of his first feature film ‘Aladdin 3477.’

‘Star Wars’ fans have been very busy over the weekend. The trailer for ‘The Force Awakens’ was just released on Friday, and already we’ve seen fan versions hitting the internet, including a shot-for-shot recreation made entirely out of LEGOs, which is pretty impressive. But this one is a bit different, as it imagines what would happen if George Lucas gave the new ‘Star Wars’ movie the ol’ “Special Edition” treatment, adding in a bunch of extra and unnecessary CG characters. It’s so crowded!

While many 'Star Wars' fans have mixed emotions over George Lucas and Disney's deal, the much-maligned director announced plans on making a charitable donation with the $4 billion he scored from the Mouse House in the deal.

We were all pretty flabbergasted to hear that a 'Star Wars: Episode 7' was in the works and that Disney would be behind the next big-screen chapter in the 'Star Wars' franchise. It was announced yesterday that Disney purchased Lucasfilm and its subsidiaries for $4 billion, with plans to release the first movie ('Star Wars: Episode 7') in a new planned 'Star Wars' trilogy in 2015. Although the additional news that these films will be based on an original story and not on any of the spin-off book series like fans were hoping, we are reportedly still in for an exciting ride.
