Next week, Halestorm‘s highly-anticipated new album, ‘The Strange Case Of…’ will hit stores. Fans and the world of rock alike have been anxiously awaiting the new collection of songs to come out of the band.
About a month ago we reported that Halestorm were pushing ahead of schedule and planning to drop their sophomore effort much earlier than planned. Now comes word from front-lady Lzzy Hale that the album won't be out this year, but she reassures fans that it's for the best.
Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has been working with everybody from Canada's Simple Plan to Nickolodeon's Miranda Cosgrove these days. His latest collaborative effort has him paired with Lzzy Hale, for what is presumably a track for Halestorm's album due later in 2011.
Halestorm was a a success with their 2009's self titled major label debut album. Vocalist Lzzy Hale and her drummer/brother Arejay revealed that the band is in the studio and are axing plans for a 2012 release in favor of dropping a full length album this year.
I'm terrible when it comes to pop culture music, I just don't listen to it. I don't know this song that Halestorm is covering, but maybe you do. Here's some fan video footage of the band covering Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance".
