A few years ago, 'Game of Thrones' might not have seemed like a sustainable enterprise for HBO given its somewhat effects-heavy nature. Much more than simple swords and shields, to realize the world envisioned in George R.R. Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire' novels would take a great deal of breathtaking, yet often subtle effects depicting vast landscapes and intricately detailed locales. With its recent Creative Arts Emmy win, how would you like to see how they do it?
May 14, 2012 'True Blood' season five premiers on HBO, June 10th. If you have never watched this show, I highly recommend it. From the looks of this trailer, Eric and Bill may be teaming up this season.
April 3, 2012 If you're not watching HBO's Game Of Thrones, you're missing out. On the surface, it seems like a nerd show, but it's actually pretty bad ass. There are a ton of boobs, blood, and dragons, and now there is a metal version of the theme song.
March 7, 2012 HBO is totally worth the money. I'll buy cheap ass ketchup and generic deodorant, but somethings are just worth spending a little extra on. One of the best things on HBO has got to be Game Of Thrones. Check out the trailer for it's second season.
January 10, 2012 While I would never tell you to illegally watch premium cable on the internet, Eastbound And Down is so funny, it's worth breaking the law for. Or you could pay the extra 7 bucks a month for HBO. Either way, the show is effin hilarious.
