In a press conference today at Perani Arena, the IMS Hockey Corp. unveiled the Flint Firebirds as the new name of our OHL team (formerly Plymouth Whalers), unveiled the new team logo and released other details about the 2015-2016 season.

Hockey fans are very passionate about the sport, especially if you are a parent of a player. Watch this dad get mad at one of the refs calls and approach the glass. In a fit of anger, he smacks the glass and it shatters.

Most hockey players out there have an anger issue, but this one takes the cake. After being ejected from the game, he takes his anger out on the boards. Unfortunately for him, the boards fought back!

It's not too often that you have to bring the teams back out onto the ice after a game. Here, the Rangers and Penguins both thought the Rangers won the shootout and started heading back to the locker rooms. Upon further review, that Rangers goal was called back for it being double tapped into the goal.

Man I love hockey. One of the most "violent" games out there. Getting in fights while playing hockey is just another day on the ice. However, this girl seems to have a bit of a temper. She hauls back and busts her stick on the helmet of the opposing player.

Why wouldn't this girl be wearing heels on ice? Hannah Hunsinger is making a name for herself all over the internet, with her not so graceful fall after the Kings won the Stanley Cup at the Staples Center. Lucky for us, her fall was caught on camera.

Just when you think it's safe to be in the front row, this happens.  Of all the hockey games I've been to, I have never seen this happen.  The Wings game last night had less action than this.

What an amazing save! This one will be making the highlight reels for years to come. That is hustle right there.  It's not too often you get to see a diving save in hockey.  Enjoy!

I know this is an old video but that doesn't change the level of awesome.  I use to love playing hockey growing up and this brings back memories.  For being nine, this kid definitely has a future in the NHL.

This old piece of hockey footage is classic. A player takes a high stick to the face and while going to the bench a fan in the stands heckles him pretty good. Not long after this, the same fan gets hit in the head with the puck. That is true hockey karma at it's finest.
