Kevin Smith Will Make ‘Clerks 3′ Before Retirement

The critically polarizing writer/director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma) had recently announced his intentions to step away from film-making after the upcoming hockey comedy 'Hit Somebody'. Even though he is walking away from the big screen, he may end up on a smaller one in the coming months.
After the screening of his latest film Red State at the Sundance Film Festival, Smith had set up an auction to sell the distibution rights to the movie. No one could've predicted what happened next.
As a HUGE movie guy, it pains me to say that 2011 doesn't have much scheduled that I'm excited about. However, I am really looking forward to Kevin Smith's first stab at horror. I really want this to be the film that shuts up the internet haters who have nothing to say abouth Smith other than recycled fat jokes.
