This is not the most wonderful time of the year for many area families. When money is tight, purchasing presents for kids at Christmas is not a priority or quite frankly an option. I cannot even imagine how you tell a child that Santa is not coming. Please do not let that be the case. Toys for Tots is an option!

I am a sucker for award shows, the Grammys, Oscars, People's Choice, hell I even watch the Kids' Choice Awards. So naturally I will be watching the Emmy Awards tonight.

To the younger generation, a portable cassette player is a really strange device. My generation on the hand rocked the hell out of the Walkman back in the day, everyone had one. Watch as these kids see a Walkman for the first time and try to understand just how it works.

Pictures can be deceiving, especially if you are a toddler. Watch as this little tyke attempts to play basketball. The youngster has a ball, just not the actual hoop. This is where the 'pictures can be deceiving' thing comes in.

This week's dad award goes to this guy that made a video of his son with a toy light saber in a store and edited it to make it look like it was the real thing. It's a super short video but the cutest eleven seconds of video that you'll see all week.
