Slash knows something good when he sees it, and the guitarist doesn’t plan to change things up again with his lineup. Slash put together a band after recording his debut solo effort with a number of guest singers, and that band carried over into his second set, ‘Apocalyptic Love.’

Slash, the top-hatted axeman of Guns N' Roses fame, returned to his hometown for a show and documented the entire experience for a live DVD. The performance filmed with vocalist Myles Kennedy will be available for purchase ahead of this holiday season.
Slash's last album featured all kinds of guest vocalists from Chris Cornell and Ozzy to Fergie and because of that (well maybe not because of Fergie) was one of my favorites from last year. Next spring will see the release of his sophomore solo outing but this time just one man will tackle the vocal duties.

Ever wonder where Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy came from? Well, back in the mid to late 90's Myles sang in a band from Spokane, Washington called The Mayfield Four. Myles Kennedy is also the touring singer for Slash and appears on Slash's solo album.
