Well, the end times have officially arrived. No, we're not talking about Hurricane Sandy, but rather 'The Office,' whose fate has finally been sealed. We knew 'The Office' itself would say goodbye after the current season, but now it seems that NBC has officially passed on picking up the Dwight Schrute-centric spin-off 'The Farm.' the backdoor pilot will still air as an 'Office' episode this season, but does this mean 'The Office' is gone for good?

Mindy Kaling may have left 'The Office' behind a little earlier than some of her former co-stars, but these days it seems like every 'Office' star has a future sitcom lined up once the show ends its nine-year run. The latest to set up a new gig is that of Brian Baumgarnter, best known as the often inconsistently slow accountant Kevin Malone. Greg Daniels is on board to produce at ABC, but what could Baumgartner's new show be about?

While we lament that Steve Carell isn't around anymore to play off of his former 'The Daily Show' correspondent, tonight will mark one of the best 'The Office' castings to date, when 'The Colbert Report' host Stephen Colbert drops by Dunder-Mifflin as Andy's old band-mate Broccoli Rob for the NBC sitcom's Halloween episode 'Here Comes Treble.' Of course, Colbert will have plenty of tension with fellow former co-star Ed Helms as well, so how would you like a first look?

While our hopes for 'Community' were lightly raised, and quickly dashed at the cancellation of NBC's Justin Kirk comedy 'Animal Practice,' more news has come out that leaves the fate of 'Community' season 4 ever more uncertain. Where 'Whitney' will take the Wednesday slot vacated by 'Animal Practice,' the Jimmy Fallon-produced three-camera 'Guys With Kids' isn't going anywhere just yet. At 8:46 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, most national news outlets took a break from their regular programming to air a special "moment of silence" from New York City and Washington D.C. to honor the victims of 9/11. We say "most" because, as it turns out, not everyone was a participant. While FOX, CBS, ABC, CNBC and MSNBC went quiet at this time, which was the moment 11 years ago when the first plane hit the Twin Towers, NBC continued on with the 'Today' show, which just so happened to feature an interview with Kris Jenner of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'
