P.O.D. – Dow Event Center 2/12/13 [PICS]
P.O.D. did a hell of a job opening up the show for Shinedown and Three Days Grace on Tuesday. Check out the action here.

P.O.D. was scheduled to perform in Ventura, Calif. Sunday (Oct. 28), but canceled the gig after some controversy erupted with the venue. Originally scheduled for the Ventura County Fairgrounds, the Hell's Coming festival was moved to a smaller venue after fairground officials objected to the lyrical content of the P.O.D. song, 'Youth of the Nation.'
In conjunction with their upcoming greatest hits disc due out this November, 3 Doors Down will spend the majority of the winter months out on a run of co-headlining U.S. tour dates with Daughtry. The trek kicks off on Nov. 17 in Tunica, Miss., and is scheduled to wrap on Dec. 15 in Anaheim, Calif.
It’s no secret that this year’s ShipRocked lineup is one not to be missed, and In This Moment singer Maria Brink and P.O.D. frontman Sonny Sandoval both agree. During this summer’s Uproar Festival, Loudwire had the chance to talk to both vocalists about their upcoming appearance at ShipRocked 2012.
I trekked out to DTE Friday (Sept. 7) for the 2012 Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival and had the pleasure of interviewing Shinedown and Deuce at the show. Look for the interviews to go up later this week!
Overall, Uproar drew a packed crowd and some killer sets. A few of the highlights for me included P.O.D.’s always-sick, energizing set and Shinedown’s headlining performance.
The guys from P.O.D. stopped by to play an acoustic set here at the studios for some lucky listeners. They talked with Maggie about the new album and played a couple tunes as well. Check it out after the jump.
You might think having a 'window seat' at work would be nice. Think again. On a daily basis I see Chris Monroe smoke 467 cigarettes and talk on his cell phone while he waits for the Banana truck to come back so he can take a two hour lunch. At least he does all of the above with pants pulled up!
If it’s true that in space no one can hear you scream, it’s especially true for the star of P.O.D.‘s new video for ‘Lost in Forever (Scream).’
P.O.D. return with their first new single in nearly four years with hopes that they will be the ones to defeat Call Me No One. Two new songs wage war over one spot in rotation on The Cockfight.
