Leader Dogs for the Blind is looking for volunteers to raise puppies. Yes, the Michigan-based service is looking for Labrador lovers to be puppy parents.
According to WNEM, these dogs were taken from an unlicensed breeding facility in Mio back in December and apparently they were living in small cages in a crowded, filthy basement and in ramshackle pens outside.
Aside from being ridiculously adorable, our pets offer up some pretty funny entertainment. For starters, they casually hang out for photo shoots and sneeze to the beat of Dubstep. Basically, if there's a cute behavior to be documented, you can be sure we're on it!
Last Wednesday, a 10-year-old boy with Down syndrome was found alive in the woods after he went missing from his home the previous day. But here's the part that the internet will love -- he survived by huddling with a pack of puppies for warmth. Sadly, no cats or corgis were involved as far as we know.
I really don't have one irrational phobia, more just a general fear of dying. But I get why some people are afraid of snakes, or heights, or spiders, or anything that can kill you. I do not understand why someone would be afraid of puppies though. Unless of course you were worried about cute poisoning, which I'm pretty sure isn't real.
