Scott Weiland, the enigmatic Stone Temple Pilots and Ex-Velvet Revolver frontman, will kick off the month-long 11th aniversary of beloved Flint rock venue The Machine Shop by playing the hits from STP's first two albums on March 1st.

Scott Weiland may have reunited with Velvet Revolver for a show early last year, but the singer's comments about getting back together with the band are not exactly having the desired effect.

Slash recently stopped by the Howard Stern Show to promote his new album and ended up discussing Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland‘s “uncontrollable diva” behavior. The iconic guitarist also shared his love for Nirvana and offered his thoughts on the grunge era that gave birth to Weiland’s career.

Slash has further refuted Scott Weiland‘s claims that the singer is returning to the Velvet Revolver fold to record a new album and to embark on a tour. He essentially said that while he loves Weiland, he doesn’t want to be in a band with him ever again. That sounds pretty definitive!

Well that was fast! The news from Scott Weiland that he was back with Velvet Revolver and planning to record and tour came as a shock to fans, but no one may have been more surprised than guitarist Slash, who offered a denial when quizzed about it by Minneapolis/St. Paul station 93X.
