I'm not entirely sure why anyone would need one of these. It is cool as hell, but doesn't look to be the safest thing in the world. So now when you bust your ass, not only are you falling on concrete, you're also get to fall on a bed of glass. Next up, a bike with spikes for tires.

Believe it or not, when I was a kid I liked to skateboard. Compared to this dude I was nothing, my top speed was probably 1 mph. Not kidding. Watch as skateboarder Zak Maytum forces all of us to eat his dust as he rides 70 mph on his board! The awesome ride was filmed with a camera on the hood of a Mustang Cobra behind him. Zak has some scares but shreds through them all!

Apparently this guy thinks he is Marty McFly. After crashing his getaway vehicle this guys books it down the street on foot only to hop on his skateboard to try and get away. The plan might have worked if he actually knew how to use the damn thing! We later found out that the truck that stopped him was driven by "Operation Repo" star Lou Pizarro!

Florida police are on the hunt for a guy who walked into a Clearwater Target store, then left the store on a skateboard, with a 32' television set that he did not pay for. Authorities admit this is a first for them, and are determined to catch this creative thief. As we close the book on 2013 and you sit and ponder what you did in this last year, I'm sure none of your activities involved skateboarding and/or a crocodile.

16-year-old Mitchie Brusco made history in the X Games Big Air Competition by landing the first ever 1080.  Even Tony Hawk jumped back in his seat when this kid took on the big ramp at the games.  Not only did he land it, he made it look easy.  Check it all out here.

Run Bambi, run! Hitting a deer in your car is bad enough but so much worse on a skateboard. From the looks of it, the deer will be okay. I don't think we can say the same about the skateboarder.
