I don't know about you, but I could not be more stoked that football season is back! I'm a huge football fan, and while I like both the NFL and college football, I really get into the latter.

This girl is a MSU Spartan fan, so I'm glad we pulled through last night's game against Boise State.

Anyway, college football wouldn't be, well, college football without tailgating! Check out a few random tailgating tips below. Happy tailgating!

Get a head start. With games often starting early, that means the best tailgaters have to get up extra early to set up, cook, and rock out before the game. You might be dragging by the game, but it will be well worth it.

Welcome friends and strangers. With so many people jaunting from tailgate to tailgate, there really isn't a reason to close off your tailgate to complete strangers. Unless they eat all your food and drink all your beverages, of course. But, in general, "the more the merrier" is the name of the game at tailgates.

Offer food that rocks. Nothing sets the tone of a great tailgate better than great food. Find someone who can man the grill and cook up some great grub for everyone, and don't forget all the fixings! Remember the vegetarian options, too.

Don't forget the music! This is such a given: The best tailgates involve the best music. Of course, that means rocking the Banana as loud as you can to get everyone pumped up for the game!!
