A teen is in custody after being accused of attacking a man at a local grocery store.

Ron Lemmon, 63, was approached by the 16-year-old male in the parking lot of Kroger on Saginaw Road in Mt. Morris. According to Mr. Lemmon, the suspect first made small talk and then asked for a cigarette. Lemmon told the teen he does not smoke and did not have any. The suspect then asked Lemmon to buy him a pack. Mr. Lemmon made a remark about not buying the cigarettes and helping the youth to extend his life - that is when he was attacked.

The teen proceeded to slam Lemmon into his vehicle. What an a-hole. I cannot even imagine. Luckily he was able to get in his Escape and drive home. It was not until he was home, that he realized how beat up he was. My thoughts are with Mr. Lemmon and I am certainly glad this jerk has been caught.
