The Channel 4 News Team is Back in ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ Trailer [VIDEO]

Ron Burgundy, Champ Kind, Brian Fantana and Brick Tamland return as the beloved Channel 4 News Team in the teaser trailer for 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues.'

The whole San Diego (which is German for "a whale's vagina") news crew is back for more in the 'Anchorman' sequel. After the original, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and Will Ferrell all became in demand comedic leading men, which also gave their asking price a considerable bump. Because the first Anchorman was more of a cult hit, the studio had a hard time justifying making a sequel to a movie that made $47 million. Thankfully, those three were willing to take a pay cut to make it happen (because we all know the studio would rather make more $300 billion movies based on board games).

Writer/Director Adam McKay just tweeted that we are officially one year away from the film's release date (12/20/13) -- check out the first next look at the Channel 4 News Team in the trailer below.
