'The Flash' has quickly become one of the best shows on television and from the looks of this trailer, it's only going to get better.

So I didn't immediately love 'The Flash.' I thought it was good, but in a "I'll probably end up looking at my phone while this plays in the background just like when 'Agents of Shield' is on" kind of way. Boy was I wrong. After finding its footing a few episodes in, 'The Flash' has quickly outrun the increasingly more crowded field of superhero TV shows. While some are still content watching Lil' (Bruce) Wayne and Lil' Catwoman have food fights on the Batman-meets-Muppet-Babies trainwreck that is 'Gotham,' I eagerly await Tuesday nights.

This season of 'Arrow' has fallen off slightly, but 'The Flash,' which takes place in the same universe and occasionally crosses its path, has picked up all of the slack and then some. Plus, this show knows how to give us nerds a tip of the hat. For instance, on last night's episode Mark Hamill (aka Luke Skywalker) reprised a character he played on the short-lived 1990 'The Flash' TV show and, while using perfect Joker voice (he's voiced animated and video game versions of Joker for decades), told a character "I am your father." Are you kidding me? I almost died of a nerdgasm! You can see that moment below.

After three incredible episodes in a row, you would think Barry Allen would be running on fumes. Think again. The trailer for the rest of the season shows us the proper debut of Gorilla Grodd and a sneak preview at another 'Arrow' crossover, that features Black Canary, Arrow, Firestorm, The Atom... basically, the whole damn crew. I can't wait to see where these shows are headed.
