The Smashing Pumpkins have premiered another single from their forthcoming album, ‘Monuments to an Elegy.’ The new track, ‘Tiberius,’ opens with soft piano and features quiet, thoughtful vocal moments from frontman Billy Corgan throughout. It's all balanced out with loud, raging guitars reminiscent of the Pumpkins' 1995 album, 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness,' though. Take a listen in the video above.

‘Tiberius’ is the second single from ‘Monuments,’ and it follows ‘Being Beige,’ which the Chicago alt-rock heroes debuted back in October.

‘Monuments to an Elegy’ -- which will arrive on Dec. 9 -- is the second full-length in a cycle of albums from the Smashing Pumpkins called ‘Teagarden by Kaleidyscope.’ The first full-length, ‘Oceania,’ landed in 2012.
