The State of Michigan Is Now Hiring

If you are prepared to trade in that dead in job for a position slaving for “the man,” 2015 could be the year for YOU. On Monday, the State of Michigan announced that it had nearly 10,000 workers on the verge of retirement, and they are in desperate need to find people to take their place.

Michigan currently employs around 48,000 state workers, but 22 percent of those will retired this year after 25 years of service. Reports indicate that some employees are given the opportunity to retire after 25 years on the civil service grind.

That means there will soon be a plethora of job openings available for those people interested in dabbling in socialism: medical and dental professionals to help welfare recipients. There will also be openings in the state police, which is an excellent opportunity for progressive individuals to fight the system from the inside. In addition, the state will hire people for the Department of Natural Resources as well as for the Department of Corrections.

In fact, Michigan has immediate openings for about 1,000 corrections officers.
