You want it all, and The Veer Union are willing to give it. The veteran band fronted by Crispin Earl has a unique new disc on their hands with their Decade release, and today they are teaming up exclusively with Loudwire to bring you the premiere for the lyric video of their cover of Faith No More's classic track "Epic."

"Growing up Faith No More was one of our favorite bands," says Earl. "Not only did they have great songs, but they had an uncompromising passion for what they did musically. We wanted to harness some of that inspiration with this cover and hopefully do some justice to one of the most underrated and influential bands of our time."

The band get an assist from Amalien on the track, which finds them putting a more electronic stamp on their version. Earl replicates Mike Patton's rap-style delivery in the verses, but it's a darker, more haunting backdrop he's singing against. Meanwhile the chorus feels more melodic than the original. Take a listen to the song in full and watch the lyric video featuring plenty of a footage from their live performances in the player provided above.

"Epic" will be featured on The Veer Union's Decade: History of Our Evolution box set, which is being released by Earl's Rock Shop Entertainment label. Pre-orders for the album will start this Friday (Nov. 3) at The Veer Union's website, with a variety of pre-order bundles available. "Epic" will be made available as an instant grat track for those pre-ordering through the site.

The Decade concept finds The Veer Union re-producing five previously unreleased songs that were penned prior to the band's first incarnation in 2004, then combining those with five brand new songs that have bridged the span over a decade. Also part of the set are new acoustic recordings of the hit songs "Seasons" and "Bitter End," along with remixed and remastered versions of "Seasons" and "Darker Side of Me."

Earl and his Veer Union bandmates will get a jump on 2018 by kicking off their touring Dec. 28 in Mercersburg, Pa. They currently have U.S. dates booked through mid-February and you can see all of the stops listed below.
