‘The Walking Dead’ Actor Curses His Nickname in ‘The Ballad of Porchdick’ [VIDEO]

Actor Corey Brill, known on 'The Walking Dead' as wife-beating Dr. Pete aka "Porchdick," isn't very thrilled with his new nickname -- so he wrote a song about it. 

Chris Hardwick is a pretty funny dude. He is also like the Yoda of Twitter. Whether it's on his excellent game show '@Midnight' or during his weekly gig as host of 'The Walking Dead' post-show 'Talking Dead' -- homeboy can make anything a trending topic. That ability has forever changed one actor's life.

Corey Brill plays an unlikable, wife-and-child-beating doctor named Pete on 'The Walking Dead.' In one episode, he's drinking on his front porch and basically being a dick to Rick Grimes. So when Hardwick made an off-the-cuff quip about him being a "porchdick" (see below), it took on a life of its own and became the nickname for Corey Brill on and off the screen. People like the term so much that it quickly made its way to Urban Dictionary. So he wrote a song about the experience.

Sometimes, nicknames just stick. Take it from a guy who's been going by "Tree" for the better part of two decades. Nicknames like this aren't all bad though. I mean, Corey is a somewhat forgettable name. No one forgets porchdick. He should be more concerned with whether he makes it to the next season of TVs most popular show (I wouldn't put money on it).
