Get ready for a new go-kart attraction in Michigan in the Summer of 2024.

As the summer begins to wind down, Michigan fun seekers will have to switch gears and change their activities. Many people looking to stay active must dress warm or seek things to do inside. However, that doesn't mean they can't look forward to next summer.

As of today, September 5th, 2023, a brand new three-story go-kart track is now being built. C.J. Barrymore's Entertainment made this announcement on their Facebook page just ahead of the Labor Day weekend.

While I haven't been able to find out much more about this new go-kart track, judging by the picture above, it is going to be awesome. It looks like races will come out of the gate and after a couple of short turns, they will be racing up a three-story corkscrew at what looks to be near the midway point of the track. After that, racers will head down a three-story ramp into a huge nearly 360-degree turn.

This new go-kart track will add to the other outdoor rides and attractions including the Drop Tower, Jr. Drop Tower, Saddle Sling, ferris wheel, spinning coaster, batting cages, bumper boats, driving range, Euro Bungy, the Grand Prix and Indy go-kart tracks, and more. That's just on the outside. The indoor attractions at C.J. Barrymore's include an arcade, bowling, bumper cars, golf dome, laser tag, and more.

C.J. Barrymore's is located at 21750 Hall Road in Clinton Township. For details and more information, click here.
