If you have ever watched the Detroit Tigers on Fox Sports Detroit you have heard the voices of Mario Impemba and Rod Allen calling the games.

Impemba has been the play-by-play announcer for the Tigers since the 2002 season and Allen, who was an outfielder for the Tigers in the 1980s (including their 84 World Series team), has been in the booth with Impemba for a while. There have been reports of tension between the pair in the booth for years, and minor changes on the Fox Sports Detroit broadcast team throughout the years as a result of said tension.

On Tuesday after the Tigers game against the Chicago White Sox, the two announcers were reportedly involved in a physical altercation with one another that lead to both of them not being on the airwaves for Wednesday's game. We will have to wait and see how all of this plays out in the future, as details are scarce at the moment. Rod Allen did, however, offer this vague comment on the situation.
