Today an Asteroid Will Make a Record-Close Pass by Earth [VIDEO]

It’s really just a coincidence that a meteor blasted through the Russian skies today. It has nothing to with Asteroid 2012 DA14 that will make an extremely close pass by the earth today. This near-earth object will not hit us but will come closer than any others in the past. Asteroid 2012 DA 14 is roughly the size of half a football field and may cause some cell phone disturbance as it passes by a communication satellite.
