One of the weirdest "supergroups" has taken shape with CCCP, it's comprised of three drummers and a bassist. Tool's Danny Carey along with Primus bassist Les Claypool, have joined Police drummer Stewart Copeland and Rush stickman Neil Peart in CCCP. You can check out the resulting "song" that was conceived between the quartet: 'Count Drumula'.

There is no word on whether this will be an on going project, or be limited to the one session they shared at Copeland's studio. Were assuming the name is derived from the combination of the initials of their last names (Carey, Claypool, Copeland, Peart) and not an ode to old Mother Russia.

As cool as it sounds, this really isn't all that great. Did you ever hear the expression "too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the broth"? I think the same may be true of drummers. The only place I see this one getting any spins is Sesame Street, but check out 'Count Drumula' and judge for yourself.
