There are quite a few summer festivals in the area that are definitely worth checking out this summer. If you are in to music, cars, fitness, or just plain hanging out and having a drink, you can definitely get your fill of them all this summer. Check out the list after the jump.

  • Mud Factor

    Saturday, June 30th at Baja Acres in Millington

    If you are ready to go to the extreme and get down and dirty, Mud Factor is just the thing for you. It's a 5k mud run that will send you through several different mud obstacles and includes beer, live entertainment, and a giant water slide.

  • Buckham Alley Fest

    Saturday, July 14th in Downtown Flint

    Enjoy the side of Flint that is just off the main stretch downtown. Buckham Alley Fest takes place right near your favorite downtown Flint pubs and covers all the bases. The festival will feature 10 live bands on two different stages, food, crafts, vendors, and street performers.

  • Dirt Fest 2012

    Saturday, August 11th at the Birch Run Expo Center

    Need a little more aggression and rock in your life? Dirt Fest 2012 will not disappoint. The 2012 lineup is set to feature Clutch along with Chiodos (featuring all original members) Hurt, In This Moment, Smile Empty Soul, Royal Bliss, Otherwise, The Dreaming, Slaves on Dope, Dead Sara, Psychostick, and more!

  • Back to the Bricks

    Tuesday, August 14th through Saturday, August 18th

    Car buffs unite! Back to the Bricks is always a great time to get out and explore downtown Flint to check out the car shows and live music. Saginaw Street also comes alive from Grand Blanc into downtown Flint with the rolling car cruise.

  • The Crim Festival of Races

    Saturday, August 25th in Downtown Flint

    The Crim Festival of Races has been taking place in Flint for over 30 years. There is a race in the festival for everyone. From walkers to wheelers and kids to adults. This three day event focuses on Flint and brings the streets of downtown Flint to life.
