Two Lapeer Women Found Dead in Apartment

This past weekend, two women were found dead in an apartment in Lapeer.

According to NBC25, the pair was found unresponsive and cold to the touch upon discovery Sunday at an apartment in the 100 block of West Nepessing Street between Pine and North Court Streets.

The women were 49 and 53 years old and the cause of death is still unknown. This seems so bizarre but I'm sure the cause of death will be revealed soon. I don't want to make any guesses out of respect for their families.
