Oh boy, here's a topic that's got some folks fired up! Walmart recently announced they will no longer sell guns and ammunition to those under the age of 21.

Obviously, the decision comes after the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida. It also comes after Dick's Sporting Goods announced earlier this week that they too would bump the age to 21.

According to ABC12, Walmart Inc. stopped selling AR-15 guns, and other semi-automatic weapons in 2015. It doesn't sell bump stocks, the accessory attached to a semi-automatic gun that makes it easier to fire rounds faster.

I don't have a strong opinion about this because I have no idea what the answer is and I don't want to pretend like I do. After reading people's comments online about this, I think I'm one of the few that doesn't have a strong opinion. I did notice a common thread though about how you can serve our country at the age of 18 but you can't purchase a firearm until you turn 21. This is a comment I see a lot when it comes to alcohol too and there is a solid point there.

If you have a strong opinion, please fuel the fire and leave a comment below.
