Today is a really exciting day for space nerds like me.

According to Space.com, India's Vikram moon lander will attempt to land at the moon's south pole today between 4-5pm and you can watch all the action live in the video posted below or click here.

If everything goes according to plan, this landing will become the southernmost spot on the moon to be visited by a spacecraft. There's just something really exciting about going where no man has gone before.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend to know any of the technical stuff that's happening with this mission, you can go here for that.

The soft landing of Chandrayaan-2 Vikram lander on the lunar surface is scheduled between 1:30 am to 2:30 am on Saturday, September 07, 2019.

This space exploration stuff fascinates me more than anything else. I hope they have a successful landing.
