The Red Hot Chili Peppers are often talked about by the music media, so it's a refreshing change of pace to see a segment about the band produced by traditional news-folk who still refer to their music as "rock and roll."

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been going 30 years strong, though certain members have came and gone (and came and gone again), the band's elder statesmen -- singer Anthony Kiedis and bassist Flea -- have remained. Recently the band reflected on that lengthy history with CBS Sunday Morning -- speaking about everything from how they began injecting rap into their sound to the departure of integral former guitarist John Frusciante.
