Stone Sour took the stage Saturday night (9/24) for the ongoing Rock in Rio festival -- which has already featured Red Hot Chili Peppers and Metallica and will also include Guns N' Roses, System of a Down, and Evanescence by the end of it's run in October.

Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga was not in attendance due to the expected birth of his daughter, so he asked his friend, Ex-Dream Theater stickman Mike Portnoy, to keep his drum stool warm during the gig.
