Weezer has been cranking out unheard material like crazy the last few years in the form of new albums and unreleased music from their vaults. Their latest thing seems to be doing cover songs as two have surfaced in the past month.

Weezer fans have had a lot on their plate lately and I'm guessing not all of it has been met with positive reaction. They appeared on an episode of the underrated MTV show 'The Hard Times of RJ Berger', covered Toni Braxton's 'Un-Break My Heart', and vocalist Rivers Cuomo even did a duet with the girl from iCarly. The latest in their "let's see through every idea we have" project is tackling a couple of cover songs.

The first of which surfaced a couple weeks ago on Youtube and appears to be a one-take version of Radiohead's 'Paranoid Android'.

The Weez will also be appearing on the upcoming soundtrack for 'Cars 2', which should make the movie a little bit more tolerable (my kids are obsessed with that shit). The Cars (the band) frontman Ric Ocasek produced Weezer's debut album and they pay tribute to his band on their cover of 'You Might Think'.
