In case you missed it, Metallica has announced a giant worldwide tour with dates in 2023 and 2024. They will play two different shows in each city that they perform in including Detroit! Each show will also have different opening acts each night.

When are they playing at Ford Field and who is opening each night?

Metallica will play two shows in Detroit at Ford Field in 2023. Each show will be played in the round and will feature two completely different setlists. Check out the lineup and dates of the show below:

• Friday, November 10th, 2023
  • Openers are Pantera and Mammoth WVH
• Sunday, November 12th, 2023
  • Openers are Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills

Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 2nd, 2023 at 10 am. Those tickets will cover both nights in Detroit. *** Single-show tickets will be available on January 20th, 2023.*** These shows will also be the last shows for Metallica in 2023 before the tour continues in May of 2024.
