The Genessee County Sheriff's Department has a suspect in custody who allegedly sexually assaulted a 24-year old woman at a local church.

ABC 12 reports that a man lured a young woman from the MTA bus station in Downtown Flint, to the nearby First Presbyterian Church with the promise of food.

"At the church, the suspect coerced her into the men's restroom by placing what she thought was a gun to the back of her head. He physically, forced sex upon her," explains Sheriff Robert Pickell.

According to Pickell, the woman reported the rape to the receptionist at the church. An hour later, a staffer recognized the suspect when he returned to the church with another woman and after a brief chase ensued, the man in question was taken into custody by a deputy, after being tasered several times, near the U of M Flint Pavillion.
