Woman Whose Eyes Were Gouged Out by Boyfriend Misses Seeing Her Kids Most

What a horrible story. A British woman whose boyfriend gouged her eyes out roughly one year ago, misses seeing her kids the most.  I can not even imagine.  Tina Nash, 32, tells the Daily Mail she also misses what so many of us take for granted seeing, the sky and the sea.

Nash was subjected to 12 hours of torture at the hand of her boyfriend at the time, 33 year old Shane Jenkins. Surgeons had to remove one eye and could not save the other. During the attack, she was suffocated and beaten.  As if this whole ordeal is not terrible enough, her two kids witnessed the whole thing.

Ms. Nash faced the cameras for the first time without sunglasses since the attack.  In regards to the attack and her a-hole ex boyfriend, Nash said, quote:

'I actually feel that if my kids weren't in the house that night, I wish that I wasn't still here.  He has taken everything from me and robbed me of one of the most precious things in life - my sight. 'I miss the things which people take for granted the most such as seeing the sky and the sea.  'I truly feel that, when he was strangling me, he was trying to murder me.'

Jenkin was originally charged with attempted murder but admitted GBH in court today. He will be sentenced next month.  Burn in hell mother f***er!

My heart breaks for this poor woman.  Hearing a story like this makes you realize what you thought was a major ordeal in your life, just isn't.  I don't think I will ever forget Tina.
