You Definitely Won’t Ace Our “Spot the Michigan S” Quiz

We're all guilty of using the "Michigan S" and I'm about to prove it to you with this quiz. There's no way you're going to get a perfect score.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the "Michigan S," let me break it down for you real quick. It's a phenomenon we Michiganders suffer from where we place an extra "S" on the end of proper nouns. We're not sure how it started, but it's been going on for decades and is so widespread that even the top Google results are incorrect for many of the businesses we've included in our quiz.

Even if you think always notice the extra "S" most Michiganders incorrectly slap on the end of business names, you'll probably still miss a few on this quiz. Not because it's deceptive, but because you've been conditioned to call businesses by the wrong name for decades. I started making this quiz for fun, and realized I was wrong about a few of them... and I always pay close attention to that stuff.

So best of luck and don't feel too bad if you fail miserably. This thing is bigger than the both of us.
