Young Boy’s Decomposed Body Found in Detroit Apartment

An apartment building maintenance worker noticed a strong odor earlier this week which led to the discovery of a young boy's body.

According to NBC25, the 2-3 year-old boy may have been dead for about a week. I'm sure you're wondering where in the hell are the parents? Well, investigators are looking for the mother who apparently was taken to the hospital last week but had been released already.

One of the neighbors said they were wondering if the family had moved and that she hadn't heard any cries coming from the apartment.

Obviously there aren't many details in this sad case but we'll keep you posted as more details surface.
